Our most popular Engineering service is a beam certification. This is where you would like to open-up a room by taking out a bearing wall and replacing it with a structural beam. Two popular projects are to expand a kitchen, or take out a flat ceiling and create a vaulted space. Our evaluation can take place before, or during your involvement with a remodeling contractor who will be doing the work. The first step is to schedule a appointment where we will take measurements and evaluate if a new beam is required, and the location of this beam and support columns.
Then, usually within 24 hours, we will email the finished report with the beam specifications and installation details. The report is stamped by a licensed engineer in the State of Ohio. Click the link on the bottom of the page to see a sample copy of the report.
